Nepal Football team is preparing SAFF Championship 2021 in Qatar. Nepal team will head to Maldives directly after playing friendly match against Oman in September 26, 2021. Nepal team is playing against home team Maldives on October 1 as the opening ceremony of 13th Edition of SAFF Championship 2021, Maldives at Maldives National Football Team Stadium at Majeedhee Magu Rd, Malé, Maldives. 

Here is the teams of SAFF Championship 2021:

Maldives (Host), Nepal, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. 

India have won SAFF Championship for historic 7 times. Nepal have never won SAFF Championship, Maldives have won 2 times, Bangladesh and  Sri Lanka have won 1 time also. Nepal had reached 2 times in Final. Afghanistan which in not a part of SAFF Championship now also have won 1 time. 

Pakistan and Bhutan are not playing this edition of SAFF Championship. So the 5 teams will play against each other and top 2 will play final.

• Nepal vs Maldives on October 1, 21:45 NST
• Nepal vs Sri Lanka on October 4, 21:45 NST
• Nepal vs India on October 10, 21:45 NST
• Nepal vs Bangladesh on October 13, 16:45 NST

Final is scheduled for  October 16
