Pakistan Super League 2024 or PSL is scheduled for around February 8 to March 24, 2024. Players Selection has been already started with 6 franchise teams started retaining players. There will be total of 20 players at maximum in a squad of teams. Nepal Players Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, Mohammad Aasif Sheikh, Mohammad Aarif Sheikh, Dev Khanal, Arjun Saud and Sompal Kami are in Silver Category of PSL9 Draft. While young man allrounder and left handed hitter Gulshan Kumar Jha is in Gold Category of PSL Draft. Sandeep Lamichhane's name has been eliminated from the Platinum Category before a day of PSL9 draft. Possible reason of removing Sandeep Lamichhane from PSL9 draft might be the ongoing case of Sandeep Lamichhane in Nepal's court and his willingness of withdrawing name.
There are total of 585 players (Reduced to 583) in PSL9 draft (including Pakistan Players and International Players). After omission of Lamichhane, there are 9 Nepali players in the PSL draft list. 47 players have already been retained by teams. It means there will be draft for minimum of 49 players (Squad size 16) to maximum of 73 players (Squad size 16). Read the Draft rules at the bottom of this page.

PSL 9 Draft Catogory and Price range
- Platinum Category: ($140,000 - $170,000)
- Diamond Category: ($40,000 - $70,000)
- Gold Category: ($25,000)
- Silver Category: ($7,000 - $10000)
- Emerging Players (Pk only): ($5,000)
PSL 9 Draft Rules:
- A teams can retain up to 8 players before draft.
- 1 foreign player and 1 local players must be picked up in Platinum and diamond category.
- Minimum 3 foreign players should be picked at the end of first 9 picks.
- Minimum Squad size: 16 players
- Maximum Squad size: 20 players
- 2 additional picks in supplementary round and 1 wild card pick per team.
